Only Love

January 10, 2005

A YEAR AGO today, I had lunch with my boyfriend
and took the opportunity to complain to him.
“Today is Valentine’s Day. Why didn’t you give
me
any flowers?”
He raised his eyebrow.
“Why should I give you flowers? You are not my
anyone.”

“Then… you should at least give me a card!” I
pouted my lips, hurt by his
tone.
“I know, I know. After lunch, I’ll send you an e-
card.”
“E-card??”
That sounds so impersonal, but that’s the way he
is.
“You have to e-mail it to me. I’ll be waiting.”

The Most Beautiful Flower

January 9, 2005

The park bench was deserted as I sat down to read
Beneath the long, straggly branches of an old willow tree
Disillusioned by life with good reason to frown
For the world was intent on dragging me down
And if that weren’t enough to ruin my day
A young boy out of breath approached me, all tired from play
He stood right before me with his head tilted down
And said with great excitement, “Look what I found”

Appreciate when love is still around

January 8, 2005

As time passes by, we tend to take loads and loads of things for granted.
Especially in love. Why?
It may be due to the fact that we are being taken care of and being loved,
being pampered…and everything lovely.

Just like the movie, Moulin Rouge…once there is
TRUTH - from words spoken
BEAUTY - from within
FREEDOM - being able to choose to be together
then, comes LOVE which is priceless and unconditional.

A Love Story

January 7, 2005

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness,
Knowledge, and all of the others including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings
that the island would sink, so all repaired their boats and left.

Love wanted to persevere until the last possible moment. When the island was almost
sinking, Love decided to ask for help. Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat.
Love said, “Richness, can you take me with you?” Richness answered, “No, I can’t.
There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you.”

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel,
“Vanity, please help me!” “I can’t help you Love. You are all wet and might
damage my boat.” Vanity answered.

Love

There was once a guy who suffered from cancer… a
cancer that can’t be treated. He was 18 years old and
he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in
his house being taken cared by his mother. He never
went outside but he was sick of staying home and
wanted to go out for once.

So he asked his mother and she gave him permission. He
walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He
passed a CD store and looked through the front door
for a second as he walked.
He stopped and went back to look into the store. He
saw a young girl about his age and he knew it was love
at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not
looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and
closer until he was finally at the front desk where
she sat.
